We had over 25 representatives from 13 companies attend our 35th edition of the graduate research symposium.
60 graduate students presented their research on various research areas in the form of oral presentations and posters.
Diversity Workshop
Eastman sponsored our diversity workshop and accelerated the discussion for promoting DEI. We were inspired by Darlene Echeverria and her commitment to encouraging inclusion at Eastman and in Kingsport, TN.
Keynote Address
Our keynote speaker,Bryan Benson, PhD from Solvay gave a wonderful keynote about a sustainable future and the key steps Solvay is taking.
Bowling competition
Eli Lilly sponsored our bowling competition between the grad students and the industry representatives where the industry faced a crushing defeat (better luck next year!).
Faculty talk
Alex Abramson our faculty speaker gave a futuristic talk about ingestable robots for enhanced quality of life.
